"Being our first tub, we had no experience in what to look for in terms of build quality or important features. Prior to actually meeting with Troy at Beachcomber, we visited several other retailers. We looked at their products, and spoke with their staff. We were given a lot of information about must-have features. Then we had 24 hrs to make a decision to purchase so we can advantage of their "special, limited, one time" pricing.

Over at Beachcomber Winnipeg, that was not the case. Troy was excellent in taking the time to answer our questions and concerns. He took into consideration how we expected to use our tub, and made excellent recommendations on what features we should and shouldn't get. Surprisingly, what others were trying so hard to sell us on, he did the opposite. He logically reasoned why some features would or would not be useful to us, or simply not worth the extra money. There was never a time where we ever felt pressured or given a deadline to make a purchase.

For the tub itself, every manufacturer showed well sitting inside their respective showrooms. It's not until you take a closer look at each manufacturer's design and materials that you get an idea of the difference in build quality. Beachcomber's tubs appeared to be solidly built throughout and specifically designed for colder climates such as ours. We purchased the model 578. It was delivered, and installed the first week of December. Then the true test came during the last several months when we used it almost daily in one of the coldest winters on record. The colder it was outside, the better. It runs flawlessly with minimal upkeep. Even our two children, ages 11 and 9, join us every time. It has become a regular family activity where we can all sit back, relax, and converse while enjoying the snow and -40 C weather.

Troy's customer service is excellent. His continued product support and after-care has been fantastic and very much appreciated. Combine that with Beachcomber's product design and performance, we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone."
